Editorial policy

The rules that produced an empty code list.

This page is the standard everything else on the site is held to. It is short on purpose, because a policy nobody can remember is a policy nobody applies.

The rule

A fact appears on this site only if it comes from a primary source or from our own dated test in game. Everything else is marked “to be announced”.

That is why the code vault is empty, why the dinosaur list has no stat columns, why the tier list is unranked, and why every calculator here starts with blank inputs instead of pre-loaded rates.

The evidence ladder

TierWhat it isHow we use it
1Official Roblox experience page for Prehistoric FarmQuoted and paraphrased directly, with the capture date
2Announcement from Project Mirvy we can citeSame as tier 1, dated to the announcement
3Our own in-game observation, recorded with a datePublished once two editors see it independently
4A reader reportA lead. Checked in game before it can be published
5Another website, a video or a comment threadNever a source. At most a hint about where to look

Tier 5 is where most new-game misinformation comes from, which is why it has no route onto a page here no matter how many sites repeat it.

How a code gets published

An editor opens Prehistoric Farm on a live server, enters the string by hand, and watches what happens. If it is accepted, the code goes into the vault with the reward it granted and the date of that redemption. If it is rejected, it does not go on the site as an active code — at most it is mentioned as something we tried and could not reproduce.

Each day’s check is logged whether or not it found anything, including the days the answer is still no. The running log is on the codes page and it only ever gains rows.

Numbers, estimates and projections

We do not publish estimated hatch times, projected prices, inferred drop rates or calculated tier rankings. If a figure would need an assumption to produce, it is not a figure, and dressing it in a table does not change that.

Where a number genuinely matters to a decision — your earn rate, your dig throughput, how long a savings goal will take — we give you a tool that runs on your own observation instead. Those outputs are yours, not ours, and we are explicit that nothing is pre-loaded.

Corrections

Report anything wrong to [email protected]. Corrections are made promptly and logged with a date on the update page. If a correction changes an important claim, the page carrying it is updated in the same build so the site never contradicts itself between pages.

Independence

No advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no analytics at launch. Nothing on this site is commissioned, and no coverage decision here has been paid for.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a primary source?

The official Roblox experience page, an announcement from Project Mirvy through a channel we can cite, or a direct observation in game by an editor, recorded with a date.

Would you ever publish a code from another website?

Only after redeeming it ourselves, and the row would carry the date of our test rather than theirs. An unverified code never enters the active table.

What happens when you get something wrong?

It is corrected, and the correction is logged with its date on the update page. Silent edits defeat the point of having a policy.
