Before anything else: as of 11 October 2026 there is no confirmed Prehistoric Farm code at all. If a string you found is being rejected, the single most likely explanation is that it was never real — the code log explains what we checked and found nothing.
With that said, when a genuine code does arrive, these are the things worth ruling out, in roughly the order they turn out to be the cause.
The checklist, most likely first
| # | What to check | Why it bites |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A trailing or leading space | Copying from a video description or a chat message very often brings whitespace with it |
| 2 | Autocapitalise on mobile | Phone keyboards capitalise the first character of a field by default |
| 3 | Autocorrect rewriting the string | Codes are not words, so predictive text treats them as typos |
| 4 | Confusable characters | Capital I, lowercase l and the digit 1 look alike in many fonts; so do capital O and zero |
| 5 | Already redeemed on this account | A one-per-account code fails silently the second time in most Roblox games |
| 6 | Wrong account signed in | Easy on a shared console, and the rejection gives you no hint |
| 7 | The code has genuinely expired | Real, but much rarer than the six above on the day a code is published |
How to work through it in two minutes
Copy the code again from a source with a copy button rather than re-reading it. Paste it into a plain text field first — a chat box, a notes app — and look at what actually landed there. Whitespace is invisible in the game’s input field but obvious when you move the cursor to the end of the string in a text editor.
If the string is clean and it still fails, check the account. On console especially, the profile that launched the game is not always the profile you think it is. Then stop. Two clean attempts is enough information; a third tells you nothing new.
What we deliberately are not telling you
Plenty of pages will state confidently that Prehistoric Farm codes are case-sensitive, that they expire after a set number of days, that there is a per-account limit, or that you must join the creator’s group before redeeming. Those are all plausible — they are common patterns in Roblox experiences — but Project Mirvy has published none of them for this game, and we are not going to dress a convention up as a rule.
When we redeem a real code here, the error behaviour gets documented with the date we saw it, including whether a wrong-case string is rejected. Until then the honest answer to “what are the rules?” is that they are to be announced.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does a code expiring look different from a typo?
Often not. Many Roblox experiences show the same generic rejection either way, which is why working through the transcription causes first saves time. Project Mirvy has not documented their error messages.
Can I redeem the same code twice?
To be announced for this game. One redemption per code per account is the common pattern across Roblox experiences, but it is a convention rather than a rule, and the developer has not stated theirs.
Is there a cooldown after failed attempts?
Unknown for Prehistoric Farm. As a general habit, stop after two failures and come back later rather than hammering the button — nothing good comes of a long run of rejected attempts.
