Most dinosaur list pages for a nine-day-old game are a table of names scraped from gameplay footage with rarities invented to fill the columns. This one is a tracker instead: every claim a player might want, with its current evidence status. Sort it, filter it, and watch the “To be announced” rows turn into facts as they are published.

What the official description actually establishes
Six of the rows above come from one place: the experience description Project Mirvy wrote for the game. It is short, but it is unusually clear about the shape of the loop, and every confirmed row here is a direct consequence of it.
You dig fossils on islands. A complete fossil set goes to Dr. Ivy’s DNA Lab, which grows it into an egg. The egg goes into an incubator and is warmed until it hatches. The hatchling then grows through stages — Newborns up to Elders — for as long as you keep its belly more than half full. Once it is grown, you can ride it around the ranch and the islands.
That is a species-agnostic description. It tells you how any dinosaur in this game comes to exist and what it needs from you, which is genuinely most of what a beginner needs. It tells you nothing about which ones there are.
What will fill this in
Three things, in order of likelihood. Project Mirvy publishing a dex or an update post. An in-game collection screen that shows species names and requirements directly, which we can read and date. Or reader reports that two separate editors can reproduce in game.
Until one of those happens, the honest list has fourteen rows and eight of them say “to be announced”. If that is frustrating, it is the same frustration the alternative hides.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How many dinosaurs are in Prehistoric Farm?
To be announced. Project Mirvy has not published a roster, and counting species from videos is how wrong numbers get started. The tracker on this page lists the roster as unpublished rather than guessing at a figure.
Which dinosaur is the best?
Nobody can answer that yet without produce values, growth times or costs, none of which exist publicly. Our tier list page explains why it is deliberately empty rather than ranked on vibes.
Is the Mosasaurus a dinosaur you can own?
The official description presents the Mosasaurus as a giant sea creature that groups fight with spears. Whether it can be hatched, tamed or kept is not stated, so we have not listed it as an owned species.
